    SageSure Insurance Managers expands Tallahassee presence with new office move

    June 29, 2017 — SageSure Insurance Managers, a subsidiary of Insight Catastrophe Group, is expanding its presence in Tallahassee by moving to a new, larger office in Summit East Technology Park. The new location will accommodate the growth of its staff and operations, offering space for up to 160 employees.

    Based in New Jersey, SageSure opened its first Tallahassee office with just two employees in December 2007. In Spring 2018, the now nearly 100 employees will move into a larger, modern, more collaborative office space.     SageSure Insurance Managers expands into North Carolina

    March 23, 2017 — SageSure Insurance Managers, the largest independent residential property managing general underwriter in the U.S., today announced the launch of their North Carolina Homeowners insurance products.

    The Homeowners (HO-3) and Wind Only (HWO) products are tailored for homeowners in coastal areas, offering strong coverage options to those in catastrophe-prone areas of the state. Read full article here.

    Feb. 27, 2017 — Insight Catastrophe Group today announced its most recent expansion with the opening of a sales and marketing office in Cincinnati for its subsidiary, SageSure Insurance Managers. Proud to be a part of the economic development for the region, New Jersey-based SageSure Insurance Managers is bringing 15 new jobs to the Cincinnati area.

    SageSure launches new HO-3 product in Texas

    Jan. 23, 2017 — SageSure is pleased to bring another admitted HO-3 carrier to the state of Texas! Our competitive Federated National Insurance Company (“FedNat”) product is now available. Highlights of the product include Coverage A limits up to $1.5 Million, no restriction on age of home, and coastal counties are eligible WITH WIND coverage.

    Founded in Florida in 1992, FedNat maintains a Financial Stability Rating® of A (Exceptional) from Demotech. In August 2015, Forbes magazine named FedNat one of “America’s 50 Most Trustworthy Financial Companies.” FedNat also maintains an A rating from the Better Business Bureau. SageSure agent partners are able to quote and bind this product now in South Texas.

    Tammy Nelson named Chief Marketing Officer at SageSure Insurance Managers

    Dec. 13, 2016 — SageSure, a subsidiary of Insight Catastrophe Group (ICG) and the largest independent residential property managing general underwriter in the U.S., today announced the appointment of Tammy Nelson as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She succeeds Andrew DiLoreto, Executive Chairman of SageSure and ICG, who has been serving as the CMO of SageSure. DiLoreto will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of both companies.

    Nelson comes to SageSure from American Modern Insurance Group, part of Munich Re, where she was Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Experience Officer. While at American Modern, she led marketing, communications, customer experience and innovation/digital. Prior to that, Nelson spent most of her career leading marketing and sales for Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance. In addition to her property/casualty experience, Nelson was head of marketing for a vision insurance company and held various marketing roles at American Express and several ad agencies.

    “Tammy has a track record of building award-winning, high-performing marketing teams that fuel company growth and customer retention,” said Terrence McLean, CEO of SageSure. “We conducted a national search to fill this role and are thrilled to have found someone with deep expertise and proven successes in our industry.”

    Earlier this year, Nelson was named Top CMO in the Cincinnati Business Courier’s C-Suite Awards. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in advertising and economics from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She is a designated Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) and a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati.

    Nelson and part of her team will work from the Cincinnati SageSure office that will open in 2017.
