Our Privacy Policy applies to SageSure Insurance Managers and its affiliates, Insight Catastrophe Managers and Insight Catastrophe Group (hereinafter collectively, “SageSure”). It applies to your use of our website and information gathered on this site only.

The trust of our customers is extremely important to SageSure. SageSure safeguards that trust by maintaining administrative policies and technical safeguards intended to create a secure environment for the non-public personal information we collect on this website about customers, and by using and disclosing that information only in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  This Policy describes the types of information we collect through this website, how we collect it, and how we use and disclose it.

The Privacy Policy includes examples of the types of non-public personal information we collect as also outlined below.  For purposes of this Policy, non-public personal information (which we refer to as “your Information”) means information that identifies you and is not available to the general public. Our examples of your Information are illustrative and should not be considered a complete inventory of our information collection, use and sharing practices. Please note that this Privacy Policy will not apply to your relationships with other financial service providers, such as banks, credit card issuers, finance companies and independent insurance agents that are among the affiliated companies listed at the beginning of the Privacy Policy. The privacy policies of those companies will govern how they collect, use and disclose personal information that you provide them or allow them to access.

Information We May Collect
SageSure may collect your Information, including non-public personal information from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you (or from others who provide it to us on your behalf) when you fill out on-line applications, or other forms, [submit questions or comments on-line or by email], such as your name, address, email address, Social Security numbers, date of birth, marital status, employment information, and bank account and other payment information;
  • Information about your transactions with SageSure or other nonaffiliated parties, such as your name, address, availability of funds, insurance coverage, transaction history, claims history and premiums; and
  • Information we collect from consumer reporting agencies, public records and data collection agencies, such as your obligations with others and your creditworthiness.
  • Information we collect automatically as described in the next section below.

We use your personal bank account and other payment information that you provide on this site to process your request to make a payment. We transmit that information to our payment vendors and discard that information upon completion. SageSure does not store your bank account and other payment information after your transaction is complete.

Except as described in this Privacy Policy, SageSure does not distribute or sell any information about our customers or former customers. SageSure uses your Information to provide customer service and administer your account, and may be disclosed to third parties that provide services to us for these purposes. We may also disclose your Information to third parties that may explore certain transactions with SageSure, such as certain investments, loan transactions, and mergers and acquisitions of portions or all of our business.  In these cases, the disclosure and use of your Information will be subject to confidentiality obligations we will impose on any such third parties intended to limit their use or further disclosure of your information to the limited purpose for which we provide it.

SageSure does not sell any information, including non-public personal information about our customers or former customers.

Information We Collect Automatically Through Collection Technologies
When you access or use our website, we may also automatically collect information about you, such as the type of computer you are using, its operating system, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, access times, browser type and language and the URL of the website you visited before navigating to our website.  If you access our website via a mobile device, we may also collect your first name or username (depending on which you would like to use), device make and model, mobile carrier, operating system version, language your device is set to, mobile web browser type and version, the country in which you are using your device, and analytics used to collect aggregate data on application usage, downloads, frequency of use, retention, and territories and resources you access while using the website.
We do not ask you for, access, or track any location-based information, other than country-level information, from your mobile device at any time while downloading or using our mobile applications or Services. We will collect your country-specific location so that we are able to provide you the appropriate version of the application.

We send out push notifications to inform you of new features within the application. If you do not wish to receive these types of communications, you may opt-out when you install the application or turn them off at the device-level.

To collect these types of information, we use the technologies, including those identified below:

  • Browser Cookies: Cookies are small data files stored on your computer or mobile device by a website. Among other things, cookies help us improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits.   • Log Files: Log files record website activity on our website and enable us to gather statistics about our users’ browsing habits. These entries help us determine, among other things, how many and how often users have accessed or used our website, which pages of our website they’ve visited, and other similar data.

Disclosures Permitted by Law
SageSure may disclose your Information described above as permitted by law. For example, we may use affiliated and nonaffiliated parties to perform services for us, such as providing customer assistance, handling claims protecting against fraud and maintaining software for us. SageSure also may disclose information in response to requests from law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, or the request of any court or government agency with proper jurisdiction.

Our Security Procedures
SageSure maintains administrative policies and technical safeguards that are designed to (i) restrict access to your Information to those employees whom we determine have a legitimate business purpose to access such information in connection with the provision of products or services to you, and (ii) protect your Information against loss or unauthorized access or acquisition.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
SageSure reserves the right to modify or supplement this Privacy Policy at any time. SageSure will provide a revised notice for this site that describes our new practices and made available at www.SageSure.com.
